Dear Parents,
It's hard to believe that it's already February! It seems like the holidays were forever ago now and hopefully the deep freeze is behind us!! With that all being said, this month is full of "calendar events" that we will be celebrating. For instance, we will celebrate Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day and President's Day. These are always wonderful ways to incorporate our study of letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and so much more! We might even talk a little about the Super Bowl even though our beloved Steelers didn't make it. As they say "maybe next year"! O and we are also getting a visit from our furry friends from Top Dog!!
Our Valentine's party will be on Wednesday February 12th. The kiddos will be decorating their own Valentine bag at school so please do not bring in a homemade one. Also, please send in a Valentine for each classmate and make sure your child's name is on it so they know who it's from. We have 9 students.
We are continuing to have a super year. The children are doing well and they are having fun too! Our Brigance testing will continue and you will receive their results packet in the coming weeks. The results will be yours to look over and keep. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's test results we can schedule a conversation via phone or in person. Continue to encourage learning at home through books, games, computers and IPads.
A big thanks to our January snack parents! All of the treats were delicious and enjoyed!!
No February Birthdays
In closing, it is with great sadness to inform you all that the preschool is closing after this school year. It has certainly not been an easy decision by me or the church. It has been a great pleasure to have been your child's teacher this year and getting to know them and all of you. I wish your child all the very best as they continue to grow and learn wherever they may go.
Love, Mrs. T
Sincerely,
Mrs. T
